“The Frankfurt High-Rise Center” (frankfurts führende architekten)
Frankfurt is famous for its skyscrapers. The 'Neue Mainzer Straße' rightly bears the Name "Bankenklamm" ("banks valley") und offers pedestrians the feeling of a skyscraper canyon. The views of skyscrapers next to the trees or from the opera house are delightful. A unique view is also offered from the top of the 'MainTower', the headquarters of Helaba - state bank from Hessen and Thüringen. One of the newest buildings is the 'Taunusturm-Duo', an office and residential high-rise. In its ground floor is the branch of the Museum for Modern Arts. Also newly finished is the 'Omniturm', known for its "belly swing" from the danish architects BIG - Bjake Ingels Group. Recently started the excavations for the 'Four Frankfurt', four high-rises designed by the UN-Studio from Amsterdam.
